I Believe–Hope

I’ve been going to a place in Edmonton called the Hope Foundation for counseling this summer. So I’ve spent some time thinking about hope in this process. I’ve learned some amazing new ways to bring hope into even the bleakest situations.

One thing I’ve learned is that our hopes are often hidden in our fears. We just have to flip them around so that the hopes can be seen. I believe what Desmond Tutu was quoted as saying on CBC Radio 1: “To refuse to celebrate is to refuse to hope.”

I have much more to say on hope, but it will have to wait for another time….
